Your First Visit to Our Butler Practice

Dr. Thomas checking a young patient's spine.

When you arrive in our office, you will find a warm and friendly atmosphere. If you have not already completed our new patient paperwork, we will help you do so. Then after viewing a 5-minute video presentation, you will have your first visit with Dr. Paul.

After we study your health history and correlate our examination findings, we’ll make recommendations designed to help you get and keep your health. We call this the Report of Findings.

This is usually on the same day as your first visit with us. This approach accomplishes several things:

  • Maximizes your time spent with us
  • Gives you the results of your findings and an adjustment on the same day
  • Allows us to discuss your care plan

Dr. Thomas Asks some important questions of interest to Butler residents - Chiropractor Butler Dr. Thomas Asks...

Will chiropractic adjustments make my spine too loose?
No. Only the spinal joints that are fixated and "locked up" receive attention. The occasional spinal joint that moves too much is passed over so weakened muscles and ligaments can strengthen and heal.
What's a side effect?
It may sound like a bonus; something extra, but chiropractors know it should more accurately called an "unintended effect," and "unwanted effect" or in some cases an "adverse effect." A pill can't come close to matching your body's ability to create and deliver the essential compounds it needs. That's when it's important to make sure your nervous system is working correctly—the purpose of chiropractic care!
